New Media & Society is a top-ranked journal of media and communication studies. It has been in publication since 1999 and engages in critical discussions of the key issues arising from the scale and speed of new media development, drawing on a wide range of disciplinary perspectives and on both theoretical and empirical research.

A new journal, the Nordic Journal of Media Studies, is a meeting place for Nordic, European and global perspectives on media studies. The journal focuses on the the interplay between media and their cultural and social contexts. The first issue will be published in Spring 2019, with the theme “Disrupting media infrastructures: Transforming media industries and public spheres”.
