Prof. Dr. Hanan Badr has been appointed OsloMet Digital Journalism Research Fellow at the Oslo Metropolitan University in Norway. Her stay as a research fellow forms part of the conference "Safety of Journalists" at OsloMet. On 6 November 2019, Prof. Badr presented her research on "One Journalism Crisis for All? Shattered hopes of transformation and fragile (digital) journalism futures outside Western contexts".
