Prof. Barbara Pfetsch received an invitation to join the editorial board of the journal Communication Theory as a new member. Since April 2020 she supports the work of editor-in-chief Maria Elizabeth Grabe (Indiana University) and the editorial board as a reviewer and with her expertise in communication theory research.

Communication Theory is one of the peer-reviewed journals of the International Communication Association. It is among the most renowned publication venues in communication and media studies, featuring a wide array of interdisciplinary theoretical research on an international level.
