Direct Exchange Program

The Institute for Media and Communication Studies maintains ongoing partnerships with several universities around the world. International students interested in the direct exchange program at Freie Universität Berlin will receive more information at the international office of their university.

At the Institute for Media and Communication Studies, students can choose from different courses in English language with a total of 20-30 credits each semester. In addition, students can also select courses from other departments - given availability of places. Course programs are subject to change each semester. Course programs for the winter term (October-February) will be available by August, course programs for the summer term (April-July) will be available by February.

Graduate and PhD students can spend one semester or research fellowship in Berlin

Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Undergraduate, graduate and PhD students of the Noah Mozes Department of Communication and Journalism can spend one semester or research fellowship in Berlin.

University of British Columbia

Undergraduate students in the Media Studies program can spend one semester in Berlin.

University of Melbourne

Graduate and PhD students in the Media and Communications program can spend one semester or research fellowship in Berlin.
