Cross Country Comparison

The very first unit of our comparative analysis is the regularly scheduled science programme.The sampling of countries was inspired by Hallin´s and Mancini’s three model classification of different media systems. The countries of the project collaborators are highlighted.

The sampling of countries primarily underlines the expectation that differences in media systems do affect the way science and technology are observed or used by specialised units in TV and Radio. The quite ambitious major task of the study is to detect why the observation of science by TV and Radio producers differs.
