Prof. Dr. Diana Panke has become director of the Center of International Relations on April 1, 2024.

The AIB team deals with the comparative analysis of global or regional international organizations (IO), regime complexity, international norms, international negotiations and small states in international relations. A particular focus is on theory-led, methodologically sound empirical analysis.

 

The Center of International Relations succeeds the Center for Transnational Relations, Foreign and Security Policy (ATASP), which was led by Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse between 2001 and 2022. ATASP was founded in 1986 by Prof. Dr. Helga Haftendorn as the Office of Transatlantic Foreign and Security Policy.
