Prof. Dr. Thomas Risse talked about ´Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood´ at this year IX Jornadas Europeias at Universität São Paulo (USP) on September, 28 . A series of lectures was organized by the Department of Political Science the Martius Chair for German and European Studies at USP, which Prof. Dr. Brigitte Weiffen is currently directing. The event was financed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
Thomas Risse is Professor of Political Science at FU Berlin. Together with Prof. Dr. Tanja Börzel who also teaches at the Otto-Suhr Department of Social and Political Science (OSI), he edited The Oxford Handbook of Comparative Regionalism” (2016). Both direct ´The Kolleg-Forschergruppe (KFG) "The Transformative Power of Europe" and Risse is coordinator of the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) 700 ´´ Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood´´ that exists since 2006.
