Born in Pau; France in 1983; completed Bachelor's degree at the University of Tübingen and the University of Aix-en-Provence, as well as Master's degree in 'International Security' at Sciences Po Paris.
2009-2016: Completed doctorate at Sciences Po Paris on the topic of European Role Convergence by Default? The Contributions of the EU Member States to security provision and Security Sector Reform during the military intervention in Afghanistan (2001-2015). Funded by Cusanuswerks.
Visiting scholar at the Institute for European Studies in Brussels; research visit to Afghanistan and cooperation with APPRO Kabul, several teaching positions at Sciences Po Paris and published in various peer reviewed journals and edited volumes.
