Dr. Sally Khalifa Isaac
Sally Khalifa Isaac is an Assistant Professor of Political Science (International Relations) at Cairo University since 2007. Her research focuses on strategic and security studies relevant to the Middle East, the Mediterranean Area, the Gulf region and the Horn of Africa with emphasis on U.S.-Egyptian relations, Euro-Mediterranean relations and Egypt’s domestic and foreign policies. Most recent publications include the article “New Trends in Security Studies” (in Al-Nahda Journal, Cairo, 2013) and “The Transatlantic Partnership and the AU: Complementary and Coordinated Efforts for Peace and Security in Africa?” (in: Brooke Smith-Windsor, AU-NATO Collaboration: Implications and Prospects, Forum Paper no. 22, NATO Defense College: Rome, 2013).
