PolSozOSI on Tour

Discovering places and institutions, getting insights, exchanging ideas and networking with the team of the Center for Political Sociology of the Federal Republic of Germany - that is the concept of "PolSozOSI on Tour"! Together we visit institutions in Berlin that are related to the teaching and research topics of the Center. If you are curious about media houses, ministries, political parties, other institutions and the work of the Center, please subscribe to our mailing list. The format takes place approximately two to three times per semester and is not tied to a course. Usually, the places for participation are limited, so we recommend a quick registration. „PolSozOSI on Tour" beim Deutschlandfunk

Premiere für „PolSozOSI on Tour": Am 23. Januar 2023 haben 27 Studierende und Mitarbeiter*innen der Arbeitsstelle den Deutschlandfunk Kultur besucht. Zunächst stand eine Führung durch das historische RIAS-Gebäude in Schöneberg auf dem Programm. Im Anschluss berichtete Redaktionsleiter und Moderator Korbinian Frenzel über die tägliche Arbeit im DLF Kultur. In der gemeinsamen Diskussion ging es um die Zukunft des Radios, den Wandel der Medienwelt, Arbeitsbedingungen im Journalismus und zielgruppenspezifische Audioangebote.

„PolSozOSI on Tour“ im Bundeskanzleramt

Beim zweiten Termin unseres neuen Exkursions-Formats ging es direkt ins politische Zentrum Berlins: Am 27. April 2023 besuchten 30 Teilnehmer*innen von „PolSozOSI on Tour“ das Bundeskanzleramt. Sie trafen gemeinsam mit dem Team der Arbeitsstelle Politische Soziologie am späten Nachmittag auf Martin Niedermeier, den persönlichen Referenten von Kanzleramtschef Wolfgang Schmidt. Wir nahmen Platz in dem Raum, an dem tags zuvor noch der Koalitionsausschuss getagt hatte.
