Institute for Sociology
Tutor for Quantitative Methods & Data Infrastructures
Michael Moffatt is a tutor for quantitative methods and data infrastructures at the Institute of Sociology. He supports the students of the Master's program "Sociology - European Societies" in the methods training of the program as well as in the planning and execution of the Master's thesis. This includes, in particular, accompanying and supporting students in the compulsory empirical research internships of the program, especially in the practice of research projects that are to be carried out independently, in the collection of own data or in the use of existing standardized research data and the necessary methodological tools and statistical analysis methods.
On Tuesdays from 14:00 to 18:00 and on Wednesdays from 16:00 to 18:00, students can come to see Michael in the PC Pool (room 204 in Garystraße 55) and practice at the PCs what they have learned.
