Research Workshop with Miranda Schreurs on "Climate governance in international comparison"
News vom 22.04.2016
How to approach the ever growing challenges of climate change?
This issue, among others, was discussed at the „Climate governance in international perspective“, a research workshop organized by Prof. Miranda A. Schreurs. It was held on 12-13 April 2016 in the context of the University Alliance for Sustainability’s Spring Campus at Freie Universität Berlin. Taking climate protection seriously needs a global governance framework but it also involves heavily other levels of policy making. Especially at the national and local level, co-benefits of climate protection and the social and economic dimension of sustainable development become important drivers for action. Researchers from China, Russia, Canada, Israel, Germany, and others contributed with their presentations and arguments to fruitful discussions, opening the room for future collaboration.
