Edda Brandes is student assistant for the Division "Digitalization and Participation".  She absolved her Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology with a technical-scientific focus at the Technical University of Berlin. There, she concentrated on urban and spatial sociology, as well as the sociology of technology and innovation. Currently, she is  studying for a Master's degree in Social Sciences at Humboldt University in Berlin, where she is focusing on democracy and transformation.
