If your educational background is insufficient for admission to Freie Universität Berlin, a one-year school-type preparation at the Studienkolleg may be an alternative.

The Bachelor’s program Media and Communication Studies requires a high level of proficiency in German as well as good English language skills. Proof of these skills must be provided as part of the application.

Restricted Admissions (Numerus Clausus)

Like other higher education institutions in the region that regularly receive large numbers of applications, Freie Universität Berlin has implemented Admission Limits (Numerus Clausus) for all undergraduate programs including the bachelor’s program Media and Communication Studies.
