Undergraduate programs

Our undergraduate degree programs enable students to earn a first degree, which is the prerequisite for enrolling in a master's program.

Combination Bachelor Media and Communication Studies (taught in German)

The bachelor's program Media and Communication Studies is available as major (90 credits) or as minor (60 credits) within other eligible bachelor's programs.

BSc Digital Media and Technology (taught in German – in cooperation with TU Berlin)

The bachelor’s program combines computer science and media technology with aspects of mediated communication from a social science perspective.

Graduate programs

Our master's programs enable students to earn a second academic degree. They aim at broadening and deepening the knowlegde and skills attained during the bachelor's program.

Master Media and Political Communication (taught in German)

The consecutive master's program is focused on research and enables students to deepen their knowledge of political communication.

Master Media and Communication Studies (taught in German)

The master’s program aims to expand research expertise in analyzing current communications problems in a constantly changing media environment.

Discontinued study programs

Global Communication and International Journalism (Discontinued)

The discontinued double degree master's program was conducted in cooperation with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Saint Petersburg State University.
