The head of the department "Political Sociology of the Federal Republic of Germany" at the Otto Suhr Institute, Prof. Dr. Thorsten Faas, is moving to Canada for one academic year: Until summer 2026, he will hold the Hannah Arendt Visiting Chair for German and European Studies at the University of Toronto. The visiting professorship is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
