With the support of the German Political Science Association (DVPW), the German Society for Political Science (DGfP) and the German Communication Association (DGPuK), Thorsten Faas – as well as Laura Seelkopf from the University of Munich – were elected to the German Data Forum for the 7^th term of the Forum. After a long time, political science as a discipline is once again represented in the forum. The independent panel of empirical scientists advises the German federal government and the governments of the German states on questions of expanding and improving the research infrastructure for empirical social, behavioral and economic sciences.
