Cities and municipalities were the focus of the conference of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Agency for Environmental Education: Around 60 participants discussed the connection between climate change and energy with conflicts and peacekeeping. They addressed current challenges of municipalities regarding climate justice and the key area of energy. The conference presented Rhineland-Palatinate and international best practice examples. These show that climate protection projects and alliances also give opportunities and new possibilities for action to municipalities.
