IfS Coffee & Talks
via Webex
News from Jan 14, 2026
Once per month in each teaching term, researchers of the Institute of Sociology meet in a casual setting to present and discuss their current research projects.
These sessions are called “IfS Coffee & Talks”.
They normally take place in seminar room 323, Garystr, 55, and are also streamed via Webex. This time, the Coffee & Talks will solely take place online.
All students and staff members are warmly welcome to join the Coffee & Talks to get insights into current research activities at our Institute.
The next session takes place on 21 January, from 11:00-12:00.
On that occasion, Yi-Ping Lin will give us a presentation with the title:
"Disrupted Convergence: Testing Potential Voting Restraints in the Case of Alternative für Deutschland"
For online participation, please find the meeting information below.
We look forward to your attendance! (no registration required)
