The Institute of Sociology cordially invites all first-semester students to this year's Welcome Event!

Date: Tuesday, 7 October
- 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for students of the Master's program “Sociology - European Societies”
- 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for students of the Bachelor's program “Global Sociology” Location: Lecture Halls A and B, Ihnestrasse 21, 14195 Berlin-Dahlem

The program will start for students of the Master's program "Sociology - European Societies" and the 60 CP Bachelor's program in "Globale Soziologie" together in Lecture Hall A with a welcome speech by the Institute's Executive Director, Dr. Kathrin Zippel, PhD. This will be followed by a presentation of the Institute and its research groups. This part of the program will be held in English.

In the second part of the event, the two degree programs will be presented in separate lecture halls (Master in Lecture Hall A, Bachelor in Lecture Hall B).
