News from Jun 22, 2023

Our Institute has hired two new tutors for research methods in our MA "Sociology - European Societies". They offer guidance and advice for students' methods related issues and questions during their studies and their own research and while planning and writing the MA thesis. This includes, in particular, supporting students in the compulsory Research Placements of the program, especially in the practice of research projects that are to be carried out independently.

Kseniia Shvets is our tutor for qualitative methods and assists you in the collection of own qualitative research data and the use of the necessary methodological tools and evaluation methods. You can contact her via kseniia.shvets@fu-berlin.de.

Michael Moffatt is our tutor for quantitative methods and data infrastructures. He supports you in the collection of own data or in the use of existing standardized research data and the necessary methodological tools and statistical analysis methods. You can contact him via michael.moffatt@fu-berlin.de.

On Tuesdays from 14:00 to 18:00 and on Wednesdays from 16:00 to 18:00, you can also come to see Michael in the PC Pool (room 204 in Garystraße 55) and practice what you have learned at the PCs.
