Erasmus & other opportunities
Erasmus (EuRopean Community Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students) is the worldwide largest student exchange program and was established in 1987. The name is inspired by Erasmus of Rotterdam – a European humanist and great scholar of Renaissance.
Our institute holds exchange agreements with the following universities: Bangor (Wales), Barcelona (Catalonia / Spain), Bucharest(Romania), Fribourg (Switzerland), Copenhagen (Denmark), Luzern (Switzerland), Paris (France),
Umeå (Sweden), Vienna (Austria), Warsaw (Poland), Nova Gorica (Slovenia). Courses in English are available at all universities unless stated otherwise. For detailed information click here. Via a direct exchange program offered by OEI you can also study in Moscow (Russia). Freie Universität Berlin currently has more than 90 direct exchange programs with universities all over the world.
Next to the classical Erasmus exchange we also offer other opportunities to go abroad.
