Marcos Andrade Neves is postdoctoral research associate at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Freie Universität Berlin, where he is associated with the Research Area Medical Anthropolgy I Global Health. He researched the transnational circulation of people, drugs, and technologies in the context of organized assisted suicide, focusing mainly in Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

He is currently a DAAD PRIME fellow at FU Berlin and University of Edinburgh.

Dr. Marcos Freire de Andrade Neves ist von April 2022 bis September 2023 von seiner Wiss. Mitrabeiterststelle am Institut für Sozial- und Kullturanthropologie beurlaubt, um ein DAAD PRIME finanziertes Forschungsstipendium wahrzunehmen. In diesem Zeitraum wird er am Institut durch Dominik Mattes in der Lehre im Bereich Medical Anthropology I Global Health vertreten.
