Thesis: Exploring Impacts of Internet Communication on Social Activism in Iran

ABSTRACT

To contribute to the debates on social potentials of new information and communication technologies, the research provides first hand empirical evidence about impacts of the Internet-mediated communication on under-researched Iranian social activists. It concentrates on Women’s Rights Activism (WRA), among the most prominent and dynamic in the country.
