I am an academic working on journalism and digital media at Galatasaray University in Istanbul. I am currently a visiting postdoctoral researcher at the institute with a fellowship from Turkey, at the invitation of Prof. Margreth Lünenborg and under her supervision. My field research, which I plan to last about 9 months, focuses on the media use of Turkish-origin immigrants living in Berlin and is based on in-depth interviews with their third generation.
