On a guided tour of the Tränenpalast ("palace of tears"), we will explore the historical site where Germany's partition became a daily emotional ordeal. As the main departure hall for travel from East to West Berlin, it witnessed countless controlled goodbyes under the eyes of the Stasi. Our visit focuses on understanding the architecture of control, the procedures of exit visas, and the individual stories of hope and despair embedded in this unique museum.
