Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abd Rabou

Dr. Ahmad Abd Rabou is assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University, Egypt and currently a Carneige Visitng Scholar at University of Denver. His research interests are public policy-making, civil-military relations, democratization and the studies of religion and politics with special emphasis on political Islam. He recently published articles on “The Absence of the Legislative Power and the Future of Politics in Egypt.“ (in: Arab Reform Initiative, 1-12, May 2015) and „Democracy as Civilian Control: Civil-Military Relations in Post Revoultion Egypt.“ (in: Arab revoultions and Beyond: Change and Persistance, Proceedings oft he International Conference: pp. 11-28).
