Affects - Media - Power conference: Announcement and Program

CRC 1171 Affective Societies and DGPuK division Sociology of Communication and Media are delighted to invite to Affects - Media - Power conference. The conference will be held from June 29 to July 1 at Freie Universität Berlin.
In seven panels, attendants will discuss theoretical approaches of affect studies as well as their application in media and communication studies. More than 30 international scholars will present a broad range of theoretical and empirical research in affect studies. Zizi Papacharissi (Chicago), Jens Eder (Potsdam-Babelsberg) and Brigitte Hipfl (Klagenfurt) will take part as keynote speakers. All keynotes are open to the public.
Registration fee is 50 Euro. Please note the reduced fee of 25 Euro for part-time positions and students. Students of Freie Universität are eligible for a further reduced fee of 10 Euro.
