Prof. Dr. Thorsten Faas and Dipl.-Pol. Holger Reinermann analyze in this paper the impact of the coalitions on the perception of parties through their voters. For this purpose the authors examine panel surveys from Baden-Württemberg from 2011 to 2016. The paper is included in the anthology "Continuity and Change of Party Democracies in Europe" and belongs to the special issues of the Political Quarterly series.
