Dr. Daniel Schumann receives fellowship at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research at Bielefeld University

The Center for Interdisciplinary Research (ZiF) at Bielefeld University has selected Dr. Daniel Schumann as a fellow in its programme “Das Junge ZiF”, starting in October 2025. Daniel Schumann is a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Group Gender Studies at the Institute of Sociology, funded by the Einstein Stiftung Berlin.
Founded in 1968, the ZiF is the first Institute for Advanced Study in Germany and a renowned platform for interdisciplinary discourse. The four-year fellowship of “Das Junge ZiF” is awarded in a competitive process. It is aimed at outstanding researchers from various disciplines and funds research stays, network meetings and the organization of collaborative interdisciplinary workshops.
