Information about theses
Theses at the Department of Journalism Studies must be clearly related to the profile of the department, to topics of journalism research as they are represented in research and teaching there. The registration of a Bachelor's or Master's thesis is based on an exposé (see download guidelines). An early discussion with potential supervisors is strongly recommended. Please come to the consultation with as precise preliminary thoughts as possible on the topic and the work to be done. You should submit these considerations in writing in advance.
Prof. Lünenborg organizes a weekly colloquium during the semester for all students who are writing their thesis with her. You can register for the colloquium in Campus Management if you have previously discussed your project with the desired first assessor during consultation hours. In the colloquium, the individual work projects are presented and discussed in turn. Methodological and practical research questions can be discussed here.
Further information can be found in the IfPuK's current information on theses.
